i was very curious today so i went on livejournal and searched a group that collected vintage ads. all of them were so lovely and some so amusing that i just had to save them. some of them i love subtlely/inevitably (like below) thanks to nostalgia/significance.
some i love randomly because they told their own story. like this come hither one underneath. i thought it was rather quaint and seductive. and i love that fact that the word “scarlet” is in there. like it’s so sacred and if you were to blow on it, dust will come spiraling down and you’ll uncover a book (a bible, if you want to play it that way) of all lost things, that ought to be loved and cherished but were left forgotten in a tiny corner cupboard, waiting and yellowing and dog-ear-ing all on its own.
you can probably tell im in an inquisitive mood.
anyway, pictures from my birthday. my weird/wonderful birthday.
sixteen is semi-lousy since i have to cram my head with history notes. am so tired/restless/mischievous
