i am supposed to type
like as if i know what im talking abt
but i dont
i am as blind as a bat
and a bat can at least fly in the dark

but i cant even walk
in a straight line
or do anything i am told to do
without smacking forehead first
into the rearview mirror

and that was before my elbow
bruised itself
against the dashboard
and i cry out because
my embarrassment was redder
and was as more scarlet
than the broken veins
throbbing under my skin

ouch.
